Welcome to Save Bernard!

We adopted Bernard several months ago. He's quite a beautiful bear, as you can see. In fact, we've grown quite fond of him. He fits right in to the household: he's kind, he's quiet, and most importantly, he's housetrained.

He's also soft and cuddly and likes nothing more than to be held and loved. He's not fond of being called "Bernie" though, so please refrain from doing so! After all, Bernard IS a sensitive bear.

...And herein lies our tale of woe...

Bernard's upkeep has become quite costly. Without assistance, it may become impossible to support Bernard in the manner to which he is accustomed. In fact, it's become so dire that without $15,000USD, terribly horrible things may befall poor Bernard.

Imagine.

Your child's favorite teddy bear. All soft fur and cuddly goodness.

Now...imagine your child waking to a shaven bear. Yes. Shaven.

Imagine the horror. No more soft fur. No more cuddly goodness.

Yes. This could happen to Bernard, unless you help save him.

Bernard needs constant grooming to keep his fur in good shape. The time involved has begun to cut into other productive activities and we just can't continue this way. Without monetary assistance, Bernard is doomed to lose his beautiful pelt of teddy bearish goodness.

I beseech you. My child beseeches you. Please help Save Bernard.
